It is time again for Seattle Audubon's Birdathon 2004 April 18 - May 15
How it Works
- Register online, or to request
a registration packet by mail, contact us at birdathon@seattleaudubon.org
or call
206-523-4483.
- Get family, friends, co-workers to sponsor you, and
remember to sponsor yourself! If you need help asking
we have a letter
you can print and use to send or email to everyone on
your list.
- Set a date to go birding and count species anywhere
for up to 24 consecutive hours between April 18th and
May 15th. Collect and turn in your pledges by June 1st
to be eligible for prizes. You can bird on your own or
with a team. If you are looking for a field
trip we have some great ones to offer this year.
- Come and celebrate your accomplishment us at the first annual Birdathon Awards Banquet - check back here for details.
Are You New to Birdathon?
You don't have to be an expert participate and join in the fun. We have wonderful
field trips
geared for beginners and experts alike. If you have questions,
please don't hesitate to ask.
Birdathon Benefits
As a Birdathon participant, you will receive a limited edition commemorative pin, designed by Marie Vila, featuring Seattle's 'Official City Bird' the Great Blue Heron. Additionally, local, regional and national businesses have donated a wonderful assortment of prizes to inspire your fundraising and bird spotting efforts. Keep checking the website for a list of the prizes, more are being added every day! But, the best benefit of all is knowledge that you helped to support Seattle Audubon Society and it's programs.
